• Thursday 2 March 2023 NEU Teachers' Strike On Thursday 2nd March school will be closed to all classes apart from Year 6.
• Wednesday 1 March 2023 Parent Governor Election There will be a parent governor election at Hatcham Primary soon. Every parent or carer can vote if we have their up to date email address. We recently sent an email to every parent and carer with a letter about the election. If you have not received your own copy of that email, it means we do not have your email address and you will not be able to take part in the election. Please contact the school office on hatchamprimary@habstrustsouth.org.uk or +44 (0) 20 7652 9560 to provide us with your current email address as soon as possible, and no later than 3pm on Friday 10th March 2023. If you do not have an email address, please contact the school office by the same deadline so that we can make alternative arrangements.
• Tuesday 28 February 2023 Year 4 Parent Virtual Multiplication Parent Workshop We will be holding a parent workshop meeting on Tuesday 28th February 2023 from 5pm to 6pm via Teams. During this workshop we will be able to go into detail about the Multiplication Timetable Check.

• Wednesday 8 February 2023 Nursery and Reception Parents Phonics Workshop We are holding a Phonics Workshop for our Nursery and Reception parents on Wednesday 8th February 2023 from 2pm to 3pm.
• Wednesday 8 February 2023 Mental Health Week During the week beginning Monday 6th February, we will be celebrating Children’s Mental Health week. This year’s theme will encourage children to look at how we can make meaningful connections. On Wednesday 8th February children are encouraged to wear something bright & colourful along with their normal school uniform.

• Tuesday 24 January 2023 Year 1 Parents Virtual Phonics Meeting We will be holding a virtual meeting via Teams with all Year 1 parents to share information about the Year 1 Phonics Screening Check your child will be taking part in later on in the academic year. The meeting will take place on Tuesday 24th January 2022 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm via Teams.

• Tuesday 15 November 2022 Odd Socks Day On Tuesday 15th November we invited staff and children to come to school with Odd Socks or brightly coloured tights. This was to show that we are all different in our own way and that we should celebrate and respect one another because of this.
