PSHCE

With the right teaching approach, our pupils will develop the knowledge, skills and attributes they need to manage their lives, now and in the future. These skills and attributes will help them to stay healthy, safe and prepare them for life and work in the outside real world.

PSHCE is a very important subject at Hatcham Primary. We pride ourselves on delivering a curriculum that is not only relevant but crucial to the social and emotional development of the children within our school.

At Hatcham Primary, this acronym stands for personal, social, health, citizenship and economics education.

Our curriculum is based on three core areas as recommended by the PSHE association, who are funded by the DfE:

  • Relationships
  • Living in the Wider World
  • Health and Well-being
