Our Uniform

Most items are available from a range of high street shops, supermarkets and online suppliers. A limited number of items, which incorporate the Haberdashers' Crest are only available from our uniform suppliers.

We encourage families to donate any unused uniform so that it can be accessed by other families when required. There should be no stigma attached to reusing uniform but it should instead be viewed as a sustainable approach to providing uniform. Second hand uniform is provided at a discounted charge, please contact the office if you need any items.

At Hatcham Primary we believe that a school uniform is important because it:

looks smart
wears well
contributes to a sense of belonging
gives a common purpose
fosters a feeling of pride
reduces ‘fashion competition’ between children.

All children must wear the uniform and we encourage them to maintain an acceptable standard of clean and tidy dress in school. Parents/ Carers are asked label all items of clothing clearly with their child’s name.

For safety reasons, the only jewellery permitted at school are watches and studs.
